
PLACING YOUR ORDER
- The minimum order is £100 +VAT (plus delivery) for your first order.
- Subsequent orders are a minimum of £50 +VAT (plus delivery).
- All prices are quoted in British Pounds.
- International customers are responsible for any local customs fees, tariffs, import duties, handling fees or local taxes that may apply.
- You may order any combination of patterns.
- We no longer offer our digital patterns for wholesale.
- Orders are usually dispatched in 2-3 working days. If there are any stock issues we’ll send you an email with an updated delivery date.
- Out Of Stock Patterns. Pre-ordering is now available for out-of stock patterns. These orders will have an expected delivery of approx 2-3 weeks, when we will ship your complete order.
PRICING UPDATE – 1.02.26
- As we introduce newly printed packaging, the wholesale price of our sewing patterns will increase from £9.25 (RRP £20) to £12.55 (RRP £24). This update reflects rising production costs and our continued commitment to high-quality materials and thoughtful design.
- Existing stock will remain at the current price until replaced, so you may notice a gradual transition during this period.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Wholesale accounts are available to brick & mortar retail stores and e-commerce websites with their own domain and to sewing schools that would like to teach using our patterns.
- We do not allow our wholesale patterns to be sold on Etsy, Amazon, Folksy, Facebook or any other third party marketplace.
- We reserve the right to remove wholesale accounts if we feel our patterns are not being sold as agreed.

TERMS OF USE
- Our patterns are for domestic use only and not be used for the commercial manufacture of goods.
WORKSHOP & CLASSES
- A separate printed pattern must be purchased for each student attending the workshop.
- We no longer offer our digital patterns for wholesale for classes.
- We do not permit sharing, tracing or photocopying of our patterns.
PAYMENT & DELIVERY
- Payment can be completed with your credit or debit card via our payment processor Stripe at the checkout.
- Payment can also be made by bank transfer (BACS) and you will receive your invoice by email. We recommend Wise (previously Transferwise) to send money internationally.
- All orders must be paid in full before your order is despatched.
- Once payment is complete, orders will be processed within 3 working days.
- We cannot guarantee delivery times or be responsible for delays due to customs or circumstances beyond our control.
- If your order is time critical, just let us know so we can arrange the appropriate level of shipping.
- INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY – Due to varying shipping costs, International Shipping will be calculated separately on a per order basis so we can find the most cost effective option for you. We will email the shipping invoice to you when your order is processed. We are happy for you to arrange collection of your order from our studio, just let us know and we can email you all the relevant information.
- TAXES AND IMPORT DUTIES. EU and International customers outside of the UK are responsible for payment of any local customs fees, tariffs, quotas, import duties, handling fees or local taxes that may apply in the receiving country. Please contact your local Customs Office for further information before placing an order. Maven Patterns cannot be held responsible for delays due to customs.
- EU DELIVERY – We will now need your EORI number prior to shipping.
USA CUSTOMERS – Effective August 2025
From Wednesday 20 August 2025, all orders shipped to the USA will be sent using a Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) service. This means that U.S. customs duties, tariffs, and administration fees will be calculated and added to your shipping invoice. These charges are required by U.S. customs, but by collecting them upfront we can make sure:
- You know the total cost of your order before it ships.
- Your parcel will be delivered without delays or unexpected bills at the door.
- Please note: our postage (shipping) rates are not increasing. The only additional charges you’ll see are the U.S. customs/tariff costs themselves, which we are now handling on your behalf to ensure smooth delivery.
